Biography

Michelle Gremp is an Associate Professor in the Education of the D/deaf and Hard of Hearing program. Prior to coming to Illinois State, she was an Associate Professor at Eastern Kentucky University where she taught both undergraduate and graduate courses.

Dr. Gremp's research interests focus on language and literacy development for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Research Interests & Areas

She is particularly interested in instructional strategies to help DHH students develop metacognitive skills as well as implementing and modeling best practices for teaching in higher education.
